The Potting Shed brand first opened its flagship store in November 1997. The store is based on two levels in the village of Alderley Edge, Cheshire. Our second store, The Little Potting Shed opened in April 2013 in Tarporley, Cheshire. Although each store has a different feel, across both  you will find fresh seasonal flowers and plants and a mix of beautiful and original items, both old and new, for the home and garden. The stores constantly change and evolve so customers always have something new to see. Fresh produce is chosen around the seasons and the themes, colours, textures and ideas are all in tune with the time of year.

We are all about natural produce, stripping back to raw materials. We source interesting items from across the world and combine these with fresh plants and flowers. We are creative and unusual and dare to be different.
